Last Hurrah 11 June 2017

The park is getting a face lift and works are starting in July 2017!!! Many of the old features are coming back, new and modern faclities will be added and the park will never be the same again.

The £5.2m Saughton Park Restoration Project is reaching a very exciting phase and the contractors will be on site from early July 2017.

It is expected that the bulk of the work to be completed by July 2018 and the Council will soon be able to publish a work schedule which will outline how these works will affect access to the Park.

The Council hopes to keep as much of the Park available to the public as they can, however, due to the nature of some of the major work, we will have to close certain areas for a time.

Look out for updates about access and timescales in the next few weeks.

Please join us on Sunday 11 June 2017 when we are celebrating this amazing park that has touched the lives of many in the past and will be touching many more in the future!!!
